I used to work in a store, but the owner decided to fire me without paying me the rest of my money. Is it permissible for me to take some of his property from the store to compensate for what he owes me?
i worked at a store and one day I got into an argument with the manager/owner and he decided to fire me. After doing so he did not pay me the rest of my money. Is it allowed according to the mara'ji for me to take my money or property from his store which equals my pay? I asked a sheikh and he told me that if I see my money or its value I can take it.

Ayatullah Mahdi Hadavi Tehrani (may Allah prolong his life):

If it isn't possible to solve the problem through friendly dialogue and lawful channels, you can take an amount equal to the debt from his belongings.
