Speaking about exporting Imam Khomeini's thought and vision beyond the borders or Iran, Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani, member of the supreme council of Ahlul-Bayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, "Imam Khomeini's act of applying general and universal Islamic concepts can be symbolized by those who are faced with similar situations in other parts of the world. For this reason, Imam Khomeini's thoughts can be studied from two dimensions; one from the perspective of the universal concepts and the other in terms of the methods used in applying them."
Ayatollah Hadavi stated, "Justice-seeking, idealism and combat against the world arrogance in Imam Khomeini's thoughts are traits which are not exclusive to religionists or religious people. The Imam introduced concepts which are utterly consistent with the Islamic concepts which arise from man's God-gifted nature. These concepts paved the ground in different areas and caused even some non-religious people to support them."
