In commemorating Shaam e Ghariban a mourning ceremony for AbaAbdillah al-Husain (a.s.) and his faithful companions was held at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyyah in the presence of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the Night of Shaam e Ghariban.

Ayatollah Sheikh Hadavi Tehrani  , senior officials and thousands of people from different walks of life attended the ceremony on this sad evening that follows the day of Ashura. Hujjat-ul Islam Sheikh Dr. Rafiei delivered a lecture on the great event of Ashura, and eulogies in mourning Imam Husain (a.s.) and his loyal companions were recited by Seyyed Muhammad Mousavi and Mehdi Salahshoor.
